After graduating in Technology, Policy & Management at Delft, University of Technology, Matthé joined DNV as a consultant in operational risk management. Over the years he has been involved in various LNG projects including the feasibility and risk studies for the GATE terminal and LNG terminals in Germany and Slovenia.

Matthé spend two years in the United States for DNV working for maritime clients on topics like energy efficiency, environmental policies and climate change issues.

Since March 2011 he is back in the Netherlands and has been DNV’s representative in the LESAS project (Joint Industry project on LNG bunkering), PGS 33 workgroup (LNG fuel stations) and associated with several DNV projects around LNG as a fuel including the ongoing LNG  feasibility project for the Flemish Ports.
